On Saturday September 28, 2024, Rho Iota Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc hosted its annual “Z-All White Affair”.  This event was hosted downtown, historic Main Street Mendenhall with the courthouse serving as the setting for the third year.

Z-All White Affair is an elegant dinner party, under the stars with all 100 plus guests dressed in uninterrupted white. As always, the guest is greeted by an up-tempo jazz medley as they are being escorted to their themed tables. All guests were served a 4-course meal, participated in a lantern show, and enjoyed a concert performance by Southern Soul artist and Simpson County’s own Mr. Mark Holloway. It was truly a wonderful experience. The event culminated with a tribute to the life and legacy of Mr.  Frankie Beverly and MAZE. Funds from this event are used to support the scholarship initiatives of the sorority.

This event is a collaborative effort of Rho Iota Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and the wonderful Mayor of Mendenhall, Mr. Todd Booth and his administration. It is with his help that the sorority has been able to raise money and award scholarships to students matriculating in Simpson and surrounding counties. Thank you, Mr. Booth, for seeing our vision and helping us bring it to fruition.
