The Scriptural passage for today is found in Psalm 139:9-10: “If I rise on the wings of the dawn; if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me; Your right hand will hold me fast.” The psalmist again and again proclaims in song and verse the prominent position God plays in his life. No matter where he finds himself, he’s assured that God will guide and sustain him. From his rising in the morning, he knows he will never be alone throughout the day and night. God is constant and true to His promise never to leave or forsake His own. “When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word, what a glory He sheds on our way…. Trust and obey, for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.” Amen! (I do love the inspired hymn “Trust and Obey.”)
Happy Friday! “Create in me a clean heart, oh, God, and renew a right spirit within me.”
