Now, I’m just saying, I really do not have a problem with fireworks at night…but lately…I actually thought my home was under attack! I have never heard so much exploding…I promise, the sounds were coming from all directions after midnight. I was confused and not sure if the noise was gunfire or what….also, wondered if I was dreaming. I asked my son Breck if he had heard noise during the night…he informed me “not a sound.”…I just assumed I was dreaming (since a siege of wild children had invaded my quite front during the weekend)…Carolyn informed me she had heard the noise and thought we were at war! Well, last night…I knew for sure…fireworks were breaking the sound barrier! The noise level brought me into a sitting position within 2 seconds flat…

The above paragraph was written following Christmas weekend…the week has been so crazy, I never completed my story…so here I go again!

New Year’s Eve…a night for fireworks…and again, the neighborhood did not disappoint me…but ya’ll, I don’t know what kind of fireworks these people are shooting…but the boom shook our New Year’s Eve party room…and if something could be heard about our loud voices and music…then those “bombs” had to be loud!

Again, fireworks are ok…but is there a “legal” amount of powder that can be sold? I thought fireworks were off limits in town after 9 or 10…guess I was wrong!

Happy New Year to who ever is dropping the bombs…I hope they didn’t damage their hearing…just saying…2016 is heading toward a loud year
