When someone wants you to come to a certain event they contact you by mail, call you on the phone, or ask you in person. An invitation is issued to you.
Our reading this week comes from Matthew 11:28. Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Today Jesus is inviting you to come to Him.
Just the way you are and He will give you a life worth living. Take your burdens away and put you on the right road to stay. Rest in the Lord can be found in prayer, Bible study, singing , shouting, and heart felt worship.
Jesus wants you off the side line and into the game. He wants you to be a player for him and not the world. Want you come to Jesus today and make this your week of victory.
