By James Davis

The Scriptural passage for today is taken from Nehemiah 9:17: “You are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love.” We do serve an awesome God, who cares for us and abounds in all the sterling qualities to which we all should aspire: love, compassion, graciousness, and a forgiving and temperate spirit. Let us look to Jesus, his life, and ministry and strive to emulate Him by making those same qualities and attributes a part of our being. Amen!
