Group Couple BobKiddA special video tribute put together by Randy Blakeney featured old photos, commercials, original station jingles and video.

It was great to see faces or hear the voices of former co-workers that are no longer with us.

A special tribute was given to Mike’s parents, Marvin and Jeanette for having the vision to bring a radio station to Magee.

Marvin was only 45 years old when he was killed in 1968 just before the FM station went on the air.

Both Marvin and Jeanette were past presidents of the Mississippi Association of Broadcasters.  The Mathis family were pioneers in the Mississippi Broadcast industry.
