Mendenhall Coach Steve Pruett is excited and pumped up about the first ever wresting match at a Simpson County School! Coach has always had an interest in wrestling. Actually, he went to college on a wrestling scholarship and planned to be a Wrestling coach! As with many of us, things change and our career and family take us different ways.
Tonight, 01/31/ 2023, history will be made as the Tigers host a wrestling match at the high school gym.
The meet begins at 6 and the event is free!!! “I just want people to come and see what’s happening and how hard our students have worked,” explained Coach Pruett.
Girls are participating in the wrestling program (not tonight but soon).
