Approximately 9pm Thursday, August 11th, a wreck occurred at Highway 49 and Highway 28 W intersection also known as the McDonald’s red light in Magee.
Emergency personnel were on the scene quickly and blocked both north and south bound lanes as crews cleared the scene.
Vehicles involved appeared to be an 18 wheeler and a small dark colored hatchback car. The small car was loaded onto a wrecker and the 18wheeler was in the median between the Service Road and Hwy 49N in front of Taco Bell.
North and South bound traffic were detouring onto the service roads. Please keep everyone involved including our emergency personnel in your prayers.
