The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Psalm 18:29: “With Your help, I can advance against a troop; with my God, I can scale a wall.” The psalmist is proclaiming the might of God in the face of satan and his army, the enemy, in a very militaristic way. Do not be deceived; we Christians are at war with the evil forces of this world. It’s a daily fight, a struggle, as we are challenged, one battle after another. In order to be properly outfitted,for battle, let us put on the whole armor of God, Who encourages us in His Word not to grow weary in the fight, but look to Him, and we will be victorious. Conquerors we’ll be, the BIBLE calls us, with God leading the charge as our supreme Commander! Onward, Christians soldiers!
