Magee High School Class of 2021 turned the tassels to become graduates and now Alumni of Magee High School.
The ceremony took place on Trojan field with beautiful weather for the event.
Graduates marched in two single file lines to their prospected areas to the music of “Pomp and Circumstance.”
Dr. Brad Blake, Principal, welcomed everyone to graduation. Chandler Pittman, Senior Class President, led in the invocation.
Dr. Blake recognized all high honor students, who were seated on the front row.

Lakecia Brooks Turner, Historian, gave a speech on the history of the class.
Jamie Lynn Robertson, Salutatorian, address the audience on a look back over the previous year and where the class has arrived.
Brennon McNair, Valedictorian, addressed the students with his humor but serious speech.
The Class of 2021 remembered Jacob Allan who died accidentally. Jacob would have been a graduate of the Class of 2021. A robe was draped on an empty seat. The family was honored with a framed graduation invitation.

Dr. Blake and Dr. Maron Lacey presented diplomas to the graduating Class of 2021.
Dr. Maron Lacey declared the Class of 2021 graduates and advised them to turn their tassels.
Elaine Rose Flagg, Senior Vice President, led in the benediction.
Class Flower is the red rose. Red is the class color. Class motto is “Everybody needs passion. That’s what keeps life interesting. If you live without passion, you can go through life without leaving any footprint” – Betty White

The graduates exited in two single lines to the end zone for the tossing of the caps.
Students from the class of 2021 have been accepted and received scholarships to various Community Colleges and Universities throughout Mississippi, as well as out of state.
