The Scriptural passage is found in Psalm 16:8: “I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” The psalmist had complete confidence that God would protect and sustain him in a world of uncertainty. With God in control, he knew he would not be defeated or shaken. How amazing to have such confidence and assurance in a power far beyond ourselves. God alone is able to instill that within the hearts and minds of His children. Claim it and accept it in Jesus’ name. Amen!
