Winter Storm Warning

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 6 AM today to 6 AM Thursday. Heavy freezing rain and sleet expected with some snow possible. Total ice accumulations of four tenths to seven tenths of an inch and total snow accumulations of one to two inches on top of existing wintry accumulations. Numerous power outages and considerable tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel will be nearly impossible.

Counties Affected: Adams, Attala, Bolivar, Carroll, Choctaw, Claiborne, Clay, Grenada, Hinds, Holmes, Humphreys, Issaquena, Jefferson, Leake, Leflore, Madison, Montgomery, Neshoba, Oktibbeha, Rankin, Scott, Sharkey, Sunflower, Warren, Washington, Webster, Winston, Yazoo

Winter Weather Advisory

Winter Weather Advisory remain in effect from 6 AM Wednesday to 6 AM Thursday. Portions of central, east central, northeast and southwest Mississippi and northeast Louisiana. Freezing rain expected. Difficult travel conditions are possible. Tree limbs may break.
