(September 15, 1944- March 15, 2023)

   Willard Ray Clark, 78 of Mount Olive, MS passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at his home in Mount Olive, MS. He was born Friday, September 15, 1944 in Mt. Olive, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at New Liberty Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Olive, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at New Liberty Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Olive, MS. Burial will follow in New Liberty Landmark Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Steve Clark and Bro. Dean Cook will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564.

Mr. Clark was a member of the Baptist faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson (Mayo) Clark and Hettie Smith Clark; brother, James Clark; sister-in-law, Mary Joyce Clark.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Maxine  Williamson Clark;  sons, Scotty Clark and Doug  Clark  (Missy);  daughters, Dannell Clark and Melonie Chain  (Chuck); grandchildren, Michael Clark  (Crystal), BJ  Blackwell  (Haley), Charlie  Chain  (Kimberly ), Josh Clark  (Bailey), Dillon  Chain, Seth  Clark  (Krissie), Heather  Blackwell  (Cody) and Brande  Clark;  brothers, Joe  Clark  (Betty Ann ),and Bennie  Clark  (Wanda ); eleven great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Clark, Josh Clark, Jeff Clark, Adam Sullivan, Karry Tuggle Jr., and Mark Polk.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kaige Higginbotham, Braelyn Clark, Brande Clark, Kenneth Blakeney, and Dusty Jones.
