Willard Coppel Blakeney, 87, passed away on December 4th, 2015 at his residence in Richland. He was born on September 24th, 1928 to his parents, the late William Albert Blakeney and Esther Alvirdia James Blakeney.
He is survived by two sons, Willard C. Blakeney Jr., David Earl Herrington, daughters; Glenda Odom, Linda Herrington, brother James Terrel Blakeney, sister Shirley Mae Shirley; eleven Grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Burnice Virginia Blakeney, daughter Wanda Blakeney, brothers; Albert McWaine Blakeney, Johnny E. Vaughn, Truman Harrel Blakeney, sisters; Mittie Earlene Walters, Billie Faye Brocato.
Services were held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Tutor Funeral Home Chapel in Magee, MS, with visitation from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Final resting place was at Richland City Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee, MS.
