The Simpson County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to appoint Whitt Fortenberry as Justice Court Judge replacing Eugene Knight who retired at the end of June.

Attorney Witt Fortenberry
Witt Fortenberry, a life-long resident of Simpson County, found himself drawn to the legal field and helping those in need. After graduating from Simpson Academy, Witt received his Bachelors Degree from Ole Miss, then a law degree from Mississippi College. After working briefly at the District Attorney’s Office, Witt decided to open his own Firm, to better assist people in the community.
