When people look at you, what do they see?  Have you really given that statement serious thought? Some might say they don’t care what others see or think.
Today at church, three women, in particular, clearly got me thinking about that very thing.  I won’t mention their names, but I will share their stories of courage in the face of adversity, and what I see.  Just a few months ago, one was in the hospital, surrounded by her family as she was preparing to die.  Her concern was for the unsaved!  Today she was in church and still her biggest concern is for the lost.  God clearly is not through with her!  Another’s story is one of courage and determination.   A stroke cost her movement and balance, yet today, she was in church, because she knew that’s where God wanted her.
The third, is a young mom, battling an aneurysm. She had a stint placed in her brain and her main concern was getting back to church!  What do I see in these ladies? Living testimonies! They were more concerned about being in the house of God than what anyone else thought.  They are true examples of courage, determination and selflessness.  What kind of testimony do you have? Maybe we should care what others think….
