The first team ever from Magee won the World Series!!! The 7 year old coach pitch All Star team brought the big trophy home! These boys are making Magee proud!

The Simpson Central Archery Team competed in the World Championship and placed 5th!!! Wow, this is awesome! Jeffery Walker and his students showed out!

The Magee Elementary Ribbon Cutting and Public Open House has been set for Friday, August 4th at 10am. “Meet the Teachers” from 12pm- 3pm.

Magee’s Miss Hospitality, Christin King was named “Spirit of Miss Hospitality” at the 2017 Mississippi Miss Hospitality Pageant. …a first ever for Magee!!!

One thing I did learn is seeing old friends is great! I went to a Chi Omega College Reunion at a friends home in Clinton. 16 alumni met for a “I remember when!” Lots of fun and lots of laughs!

My friend Hal Hester is looking for some of his friends! See if you can help him out with this request!
“THIS MAY BE TOO HARD FOR ANYONE TO FIND:  AM SEARCHING FOR LIST OF (US) (WE) (MAGEE YOUNGSTERS) WHO GRADUATED FROM MAGEE HIGH SCHOOL AT GRADUATION CEREMONIES  IN APRIL 1946.  MAYBE MAGEE HIGH SCHOOL OLD RECORDS/FILES OR  MAYBE PUBLISHED IN MAGEE COURIER OR MAYBE PUBLISHED IN SIMPSON COUNTY NEWS????????   ANYBODY WANT TO HELP ME PLAY  THIS FANTASTIC  ENDEAVOR?????   THERE MAY BE ONE OR MORE OF THE YOUNGSTERS WHO STAYED IN MAGEE AND WHO MAY HAVE KEPT THE OLD PROGRAM SHEETS WITH GRADUATES NAMES LISTED THEREON.  CAN YOU GIVE IT A TRY?  WILL YOU GIVE IT A TRY?  I WILL APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORTS.  GRATEFULLY YOURS,  HAL HESTER”.
