The Scriptural passage selected for this morning comes from James 1:12: “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the Crown of Life that God has promised to those who love Him.” Oh, what a promise for the Christian! We know that in this life, we will face trouble at every turn; yet, for the Christian, we have the assurance that if we are obedient and steadfast in our walk with God, He will reward us with eternal life with Christ Jesus. We must keep our eyes on the prize, and that prize is to spend eternity with God and to live in perfect peace
.Okay, let’s strive to face others today with a joyful and kind demeanor. By so doing, we’ll be better able to spread the love God has instilled within us. We’re admonished to do so. Happy Thursday!
