The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Job 10:12: “You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in Your providence watched over my spirit.” Poor Job suffered such losses and indignities as he was being tried and tempted by the devil; however, he never cursed God or lost faith in his Maker. Job was such a complex individual; yet, we can learn very basic lessons from a study of him and his particular situation. I’ve gleaned that his faith remained unwavering and steadfast, as ours as dedicated Christians should. We all face temptations and trials; yet, the true test comes in how we handle and deal with them, believing that God will never leave us and will see us through. We must keep our eyes on God and never on man. Man will disappoint us; God will not. Amen!
