We had a good win against a big and physical Franklin County team Thursday night. Bryson Caffie had a nice game coming back off injury. He completed 15 of 21 passes with 3 TDs to 3 different WRs. Like all games, we played far from perfect and have a lot to clean up but we competed all 4 quarters, which is something we have struggled to do this year up to this point.

Really important game this week as we open district play against Jefferson Davis County and their legendary coach Lance Mancuso, who has more state championships than any MHSAA coach at any level in the history of this state. Their record is deceptive because they have played up in classifications and competition in all but 1 game. This is usually a really competitive game. We came back late last year to win it. It will take tremendous focus and execution to stay on the right side of the win column.
We look forward to the challenge and are asking for a good home crowd and environment…
