We are to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance in all matters.

The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Proverbs 13:5: “The righteous hate what is false.” The verse is brief and to the point. We are to utilize the gift of discernment in determining what is true and what is false. The Holy Spirit will show us if we but ask. In other words, we’re not to be swayed by every wind and doctrine. We are to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance in all matters. Do not be timid, but be bold in asking for wisdom and enlightenment, and He will provide the truth for which we’re seeking. Be wary of what we hear or are told. “Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you.” The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God! Amen!
