WE ARE HEALED
We go to the doctor. The doctor gives us medicine to take and get better. Our reading today comes from Isaiah 53:5. But he was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him and his stripes, we are healed.
Jesus was wounded for all our sins by giving his life at Calvary for us. His life was given for our everlasting peace and his blood at Calvary healed all of our sickness. Jesus came into the world to save, help, and heal all of us.
Today you may be under a doctor’s care, but you are always in the hands of Jesus the great physician. God gives us the grace in our moment of grief.
