Walter Whitehead, 66, of Mendenhall, passed from this life Friday, January 15, 2016 at Miss Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Bro. John Stubbs will officiate. Burial will be in Merit Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
Surviving Family Members:
Wife – Noreen Whitehead of Mendenhall, Brother – Emmett Whitehead of Kentucky, Brother – David Whitehead of Texas, Sister – Zera Mae Morrow of Ellisville, and Uncle- Ray Smith of Mendenhall also a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by: Parents – Walter C and Lula Mae Whitehead.
Pallbearers will be: Guy Ward, Wesley Bryant, Stan Bryant, Tyler Kercheval, John Lott, and Bob Stewart.
