Walter Rook passed away peacefully at home on January 22, 2025. Walt was born August 22, 1953, to Walter Nial Rook and Evelyn Maloney Rook of Braxton, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant brothers. Walt is survived by his wife of 28 years, Susan Moore Rook, brothers Bill (Carol) of Braxton, and Peter (Liz) of Starkville, MS.
He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on February 8, 1:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church of Mendenhall, MS.
