W.T. Gregg passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, in Soso, MS. He was born to Mack Gregg and Georgia Luttrell on April 12, 1947.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country proudly. W.T. played the fiddle for several years alongside his good friend Tim Avalon. A man of ambition, he worked on getting his pilot’s license in his later years. He went so far that he was able to complete a solo flight.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Gregg (Tammy); daughter, Rebecca Bullard (Bob); brothers, Jerry Gregg (Shirley), Luther Gregg (Eleanor); sister, Betty Putman (Raymond); grandchildren, Kayley Delapaz (Villa), Kevin Gregg Jr, Kinsey Gregg, Hannah Bullard, Kodie Bullard, Bo Bullard, Zach Bullard (Kseniya), Richard Hodges; great-grandchildren, Max Bullard, Jacob Bullard, Blade Delapaz, Mia Delapaz and Mallory Delapaz.

He was preceded by his parents; wife of forty-nine years, Kathy (Hancock) Gregg; brothers, Walter Gregg and Tommy Gregg.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Services will be held in Tutor Chapel on Wednesday, December 18, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Ed Hauser and Bro. Brian Beech officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mize, MS.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.

Patrice is married to Greg Boykin and they have two sons, Bradley & Alex Boykin. Patrice is a lifetime resident of Simpson County. Patrice retired after 25 years in the Insurance industry where 23 of those years were with State Farm Insurance in Magee. She is very active in the community and has served in several leadership roles. Patrice has been a Secretary for the Magee Touchdown Club for 19 years and President of the MS Scholars of Simpson County. Patrice was a member of the Magee Adopt A School Program. She was elected to a term on the Simpson County School Board. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Magee Chamber of Commerce. She serves on the Keep Magee Beautiful Committee and is a member of the Advisory Committee for the Simpson County Technical Center. Patrice is a member of the Simpson County Republican Executive Committee. Multiple times, Patrice was named Parent of the Year for Magee Schools as well as District Parent of the Year for the Simpson County School District. Patrice & her family are members of New Hope Baptist Church.
