Every “poll” in Simpson County will be open and have something to vote for! That’s right, there is not any of our precincts that will not have a ballot. Now, one may feel there is “not much to vote for”…but I’m just saying, your vote is needed.
District One: Public Service Commissioner (Sam Britton or Terry Smith) plus the big run-off between George Mitchell Chatman and Curtis Skiffer for Supervisor. That supervisor race was tight at the August 4th election…and may prove to be again.
District Two: Public Service Commissioner (Sam Britton or Terry Smith) plus the big run-off between Danny Craft and Larry Walker for Supervisor.
District Three: Public Service Commissioner (Sam Britton or Terry Smith)
District Four: Public Service Commissioner (Sam Britton or Terry Smith)
Voting is always worth your time…I was shocked at the low voter turn out for the August 4th primary. We had so many hot races going I thought the entire county would be a the polls…but not so.
Ok, my friends…go vote Tuesday, August 25th…and take someone with you.
MageeNews.com will live stream the election returns beginning around 7:15 PM Tuesday night.
