Voting in the Democratic and Republican parties will be held Tuesday, March 10th.
The Democratic and Republican primary covers the Presidential election, US Senator, and House of Representatives.
In the Democratic presidential primary the field has been narrowed to two candidates: Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders. Although several names will appear for the presidential position, only two candidates remain in an active campaign.
For the position of US Senator: Tobey Barnard Bartee, Jensen Bohren, and Mike Espy will appear on the ballot.
For the position of House of Representatives: Dorothy Dot Benford and Katelyn Lee will be listed on the ballot.
In the Republican presidential primary: Donald J Trump, Roque, “Rockey” DeLaFuente, and Bill Welch.
For the position of US Senator, Cindy Hyde Smith is running unopposed.
In the House of Representatives, Michael Guess is being challenged by James Tulp.
Absentee ballots must be received in the Circuit Clerk’s office by Monday, March 9, 2020.
