The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) Mississippi Museum of Natural Science (MMNS), Mr. E., and the Mindbender Society invite visitors of all ages to test their brainpower by solving puzzles and challenges in the “Mindbender Mansion” exhibit! Open from January 18 – May 4, 2025, the exhibit is included with museum admission or Mississippi Museum of Natural Science Foundation Membership and kicks off the Museum’s celebration of its 25th year at LeFleur’s Bluff State Park. Visitors can plan their visit at www.mdwfp.com/museum.
Math, science, and technology educational content are woven into the exhibit. “At the heart of Mindbender Mansion is the essential scientific task of problem solving and critical thinking needed to master the activities in this fun and unconventional exhibit,” said Angel Rohnke, Museum Director.
The wacky Mr. E., master brainteaser and puzzler extraordinaire, and curator of the Mindbender Society, will greet visitors to Mindbender Mansion. This wonderfully puzzling world is an eclectic place full of puzzles, brainteasers, and interactive challenges guaranteed to test the brain power and problem solving skills of even the most experienced puzzlers. Mr. E. will explain the mysteries of Mindbender Mansion and how to become a member of the eccentric Mindbender Society by gathering hidden clues and secret passwords which can only be found by solving select puzzles.
Mindbender Mansion was produced and is toured by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, Portland, Oregon. The exhibit is sponsored locally by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science Foundation, Feild Co-Operative Association, and The Walker Foundation.
ABOUT THE MUSEUM: The Museum is located at 2148 Riverside Drive in Jackson, Mississippi within LeFleur’s Bluff State Park.
