Virginia Dare Kennedy, 88, of Magee, passed from this life Wednesday at Lake View Place in Magee. She was born Thursday, January 22, 1931.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee. The Burial will follow in Womack Cemetery. Bro. Danny Adams will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.

Virginia was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.N. Kennedy, Parents, Joseph and  Ora Lucky, Son,  Steve Kennedy, Brother, W.F. Lucky, Sister, Wilma Cockrell, and Grandson, Jackie Kennedy Jr., Son-in-law James Cosper.

Survivors include Children, David Kennedy and wife Deborah, Jerry Kennedy and wife Patsy, Jeanette Garner, Jackie Kennedy and Julie Cosper. Grandchildren, Sonny Kennedy, Jeff Kennedy and wife Mandy, Logan Garner, Tiffany Kennedy, Matthew Kennedy, Brian Kennedy and wife Faith, Shelly Hux and husband Chris, Chad Smith and wife Jennifer, Joey Smith, Lee Garner, Angela Warren and Dewayne, 15 Great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Sonny Kennedy, Jeff Kennedy, Brian Kennedy, Chad Smith, Joey Smith, Lee Garner, Chris Hux,.
