Virgie Mae “Bonnie” Barrett (74) of Magee, Mississippi passed away early Wednesday morning, August 18, 2021, at her home. She was born July 25, 1947. Bonnie was the daughter of the late Bob and Oretta Blair of Magee.

Bonnie spent her life taking care of others.  She was a long-time sitter with the elderly.

Bonnie was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, Buddy Barrett, sister Linda Ferguson, and in-laws Oscar and Leona Barrett.

She is survived by her two sons, Todd Barrett of Magee and James (Darlene) Vanzandt of Mize;  her daughter LeAnna (Clint) Bryant of Mize; her brothers, Billy (Patricia) Blair of Magee, Larry (Patsie) Blair of Magee; her sisters, Bobbie Tanner of Mendenhall, Diane Hall of Magee, Debbie (Jerry) Thompson of Magee; grandchildren, Taylor Bryant and Savannah Bryant of Mize, Jennifer(Derrick) Mckinley, Wesley Tuggle, Kyleigh Rayborn, Ari Grace McKinley, Aubrie McKinley, Tiler McKinley, Cade McKinley, Braxton McKinley, Preslyn Tuggle, Maddison Tuggle, and a host of nieces and nephews.

 

No funeral will be held.  Bonnie donated her body to science.
