Vilous Truitt Anding, 88, of Mt Olive, passed from this life Monday September 30, 2019 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Magee, He was born Tuesday, October 14, 1930.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. The burial will follow in Trinity Methodist Church Cemetery in Smith County. Bro Raymond Jeffcoat and Bro James Fortenberry will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Truitt was a native of Smith County

He was preceded in death by Parents, Odis and Edna Thompson Anding, Brother, Daniel Anding, Sister, Annie Lou Glenn, and Son-in-Law, Harvey McDonald.

Survivors include Wife of 66 years, Janie Anding Children, Gretchel Leglue and husband Jeffery, Candace Anding, Grandchildren, Nick Walker and Wife Heather, T.J. Walker and Wife Alison, Vonnie Hall and Husband Michael, Whitney Powell and Husband Charlie, Kayla Miller and Husband Stephen, Great-grandchildren, Chase, Emma, Baily, Alvie, Trulee, Karli, Jesse, Joey, Luke, Lane, Payton, Paisleigh. Sister, Faye Kennedy, Brothers, Odis Lee “June” Anding, William J. “Bud” Anding, Colon Anding and Wife Joanne. A Host of Nieces, Nephews and Friends.

Pallbearers will be Nick Walker, T.J. Walker, Michael Hall, Charlie Powell, Stephen Miller, and Carroll Gentry. Honorary pallbearers will be Baily Walker, Chase Burnham, Payton Gentry, Luke Powell and Lane Powell.
