Vida Whitley, 87, passed away Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 at River Oaks in Jackson. She was born Friday, March 27, 1931
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee in Magee. The Burial will follow in Magee City Cemetery. Bro. Gary Meadows will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Creel and Bertha Creel; husband, Sandifer Whitley; sons, Charles Pettis, Jerry Pettis and Edgar Pettis; sister, Lillie Daniels.
Survivors include her daughters, Florence Adcock (Glenn) and Priscilla Edwards; 7 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; 8 great- great children; sisters, Ada Walley and Minnie Lonney.
