 Vera Charleen Berry, 89 of Pinola, MS passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at her home in Pinola, MS. She was born Tuesday, March 10, 1936 in Mississippi.

 Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 03, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Burial will follow in Strong River Baptist Church Cemetery in Pinola, MS. Bro. Glenn Jennings will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

 Mrs. Berry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and sister. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Raford Berry; parents, Griff Deer and Mae Deer; brother, Marshall Deer; sisters, Patsy Deer and Emmy Lou Brown.

 Survivors include her sons, Gary  Berry  (Lesia), Ricky  Berry and Kenny Berry of Pinola, MS;  daughter, Tammie Hux;  grandchildren, Shane  Berry  (Jana), David  Berry  (Whitney) and Paula  McLain;  brothers, Bobby  Deer, Sammy  Deer  (Pam);  great- grandchildren, Brenson Berry, Layla  Berry, Steven  Shane  Berry, Jr., Tatum  Berry, Patrick Hanna  (Felicity), Jennye  Hathorn  (Tanner), Graci  Phillipson, Bradyn  Phillipson and Brelynd  Phillipson; great-great grandchildren, Kimbri Rae Hathorn, Keagan Brister, Ainsley Brister, Emmitt Brister, Ollie Hanna, and Ellie Hanna;  sister, Nell Smith; and a host of nieces  and nephews and other family members.

 Pallbearers will be David Berry, Shane Berry, Steven Berry, Brenson Berry, Patrick Hanna, Tanner Hathorn, Brelynd Phillipson, and Bradyn Phillipson.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Strong River Baptist Church at 1525 Hwy 472 Pinola, MS or to the Strong River Baptist Church Cemetery.
