Summer Program Registration Deadlines Extended

The Frances A. Karnes Center for Gifted Studies at The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) announces that the application deadline for its summer 2023 day programs Young Gifted Students and Summer In the Middle has been extended until May 15.
Day Programs will take place during the week of June 12 – June 16. The Young Gifted Students Program is designed for intellectually or academically advanced students from PreK4 through 3rd grades. The Summer In the Middle program is designed for intellectually and academically talented students in grades 4-6.
Applications for the residential programs Summer Gifted Studies, Leadership Studies, and the Summer Program for Academically and Artistically Talented Youth are also open for students in middle and high school. The deadline to register for these programs is May 30.
