According to City of Magee Fire Marshal, Charlie Valadie, 10-12 residence were damaged in the Friday storm. 6 business received damage (trees on roof) and 4 business received minor damage (windows blown out). Trees were down all over the city with many being uprooted. Some utility buildings near houses were damaged.
The exact number of people without power during the storm is not known. But, about 50 people in our area still do not have power.
The city sirens are working and were activated during Monday’s storm.
