*** Saturday morning:  I texted with Sara Saturday morning.  Carol was out of surgery following the setting of her ankle, requiring pins.

According to Sara, Carol did good and they are waiting for a room.

Carol Watkins Warren, employee of Peoples Bank in Magee, was involved in an accident on US highway 49 Friday morning, March 6, 2020.

Carol was taken by helicopter to UMMC.  Her sister Sara Watkins Evans has sent me a couple of updates on Carol.

Carol has a concussion, broken knee cap, and broken ankle.  She is headed to surgery and prayers are requested.

I will post any updates I receive from her sister.  Carol is married to Charlie Warren and they are long time residents of the Magee area.

These are Carol’s siblings : Sara, Margaret, Helena, and Clyde. Carol was raised at the Sanatorium where her father was the director of the MS State Sanatorium for many years.
