My grandsons leave for their other” home in Florida on Sunday. I don’t know how the days just crept up on me…I thought I had access to them for another week…but not so.

As a parent and grandparent our hearts break in so many ways. I feel as if another part of my heart is dying. I dearly love Connor and Preston. I am not given phone privileges…mail privileges…or face time privileges. My letters are kept from them. But you know what, no matter how someone tries to keep those precious grandsons from me…the depth of our love for one another will never end.
School begins…life goes on…hurt goes on…but I continue to turn those sweet boys over to Jesus our Lord and Savior…not only that His grace protects them…but His grace protects me.
I am thankful for the few weeks I had with the boys…I am thankful they know their “Sue Sue” loves them….and I will never stop praying that their needs will be put above hate from the past.
Thank you my friends for allowing me to open my heart…..because right now, I am really struggling. This time of the year is my most difficult….Connor and Preston leave…and Larkin’s death anniversary is the 3rd.
Grief knows no limit. God’s mercy knows no limit. And friendship knows no limit.
