As your Treasurer, I take my mission to return unclaimed property to families and businesses across the State very seriously.  These funds can make a real difference in people’s lives.  While the list is always available on my website, we also try to make it as easy as possible by coming to community centers, libraries, or other locations that make searching for your money and beginning the process to claim it very convenient.
Here are some of our currently scheduled, upcoming unclaimed property events:
Thursday, January 24, 2019
5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
Ridgeland City Hall, 304 Highway 51 in Ridgeland
(College Savings specialists will be on hand, as well.)
Thursday, February 14, 2019
3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Chamber Center, 103 N. Pearl Street, Carthage
Friday, February 22, 2019
3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Richland Community Center, 410 E. Harper Street, Richland
Thursday, February 28
3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Chancery Court Annex, 175 South Cherry Street, Magnolia
Events like these have helped me to distribute more than $91 million in unclaimed property in my first seven years as your Treasurer.  Please check the list and come out to see my unclaimed property specialists when they are in a town near you so they can help you start the process for claiming your money.
