Monday, January 22nd at 5:23 AM, E-911 received a call concerning a structure fire in the south part of Simpson County (Rodney Sullivan Road). The Magee Fire Department responded to the call and left the station at 5:37 with 16 firemen and 3 trucks. The camper/trailer was fully engulfed and partially collapsed when the fire trucks arrived.

Two victims were located in the camper/trailer. Names are not being released at this time.

The Magee Fire Department, the Covington County Sheriff Department, the Simpson County Sheriff Department, State Fire Marshal, coroner, and MS Bureau of Investigation were on the scene.
