Cody Matthew Howard, 40 years old, of Pinola, MS, passed away at home on June 16, 2025. Cody, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, was born on February 20, 1985, in Kaufman, Texas. Cody and his family moved to Mississippi in 1989, where he spent the majority of his life developing an unbreakable bond with his friends, family, and the community.

Cody possessed a deep passion for automobiles, particularly hot rods and fast cars. His love extended beyond simply driving; he found immense satisfaction in working on cars and trucks, honing his mechanical skills throughout his life. Evenings and weekends were often spent pursuing his passion, meticulously maintaining and improving his own collection of fast cars and big trucks. For many years, he contributed his expertise as an electrician for the family business, a testament to his dedication and work ethic.

Above all else, Cody cherished his daughter, Kendyl Howard, who was the center of his world. He also deeply loved and was loved by his mother, Karen Howard; his father, Monte Howard; his grandmother, Patsy Hulse; and his aunt, Pat Wilsford. He will be deeply missed by his siblings, Justin Miller, Shane Howard, Sarah West, Greg Blacklidge, Ryan Howard, and Travis Howard, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. His warm and outgoing personality fostered many lifelong friendships, connecting him with people from all walks of life.
