Sunday night at approximately 7:00 in Mt Olive, Tina Bryant Emfinger was found dead in the front yard of her home located in the 300 block of Arbor Road. Allen Emfinger shot and killed his wife before turning the gun on himself. Tina was pronounced dead at the scene. Allen was taken to the Covington County Hospital where he later died from the self-inflected injuries.
The couple had been married less than a month.
The investigation is ongoing.
