Plastic surgeon, William North MD, a member of the Runnels Center in Jackson, is now seeing patients in Magee on the 3rd Friday of each month. Dr. North is in practice with Dr. Scott Runnels formerly of Magee.
Dr. North focus on offering the latest state-of-the-art surgical and non-surgical procedures. Dr. North sees patients as well as performs surgery while in Magee. Dr. North is available for consultations of all plastic surgeries.

While at UK, Dr. North was awarded First Place in the Kentucky Society of Plastic Surgery Resident Research Competition, and authored numerous research and other articles for leading plastic surgery journals. In 2016, he received the Glancy Award from the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons for his work on innovative techniques in breast reconstruction. Medicine runs in the family; his father is local OB-GYN and novelist, Dr. Darden North.
