The Trustee Hall located next to the Simpson County jail is 90% complete with a target date of opening in mid December, according to Simpson County Sheriff Paul Mullins.

Thirty nonviolent inmates will be housed at the Trustee Hall allowing additional room in the main jail.  The Trustee Hall was built by local building company Traxler Construction using ARPA funds; therefore, local taxes were not used for this project.
