Troy C. Walker passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at Magee General Hospital. He was 78 years old. He was born on January 10, 1941, to his late parents, Carl W. Walker and Ola Jane (Martin) Walker.
Troy was a self-made businessman that owned and operated Walker Brothers Garage in Magee for over forty-two years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Magee Fire Department for twenty-six years and an auxiliary policeman with the Magee Police Department.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra J. (Wilson) Walker; sons, Troy Clifton Walker Jr. (Bridgett), Todd L. Walker; daughter, Teresa (Walker) White; brother, Sammy Laurin Walker (Charlotte); four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Carl F. Walker and Paul G. Walker.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7, at Tutor Funeral Home with interment following at Goodwater Cemetery. Bro. Michael Giles will officiate.
