Trojans get a chance to see what the 2016 season is to hold.

Magee hosted a jamboree/scrimmage game against Collins Friday, August 12, 2016.

The night was damp with a mist of rain and breeze in the air, but that would not effect the players.

JV would start the night against West Lincoln. The game would end 0-0.

MHS Varsity defense looked improved and aggressive under new defensive coordinator Kenneth Carter.

Jadarius Payne proved to be the power house he has become. Quarter back, Tyrique McAfee, connected with Cornelius Kemp on a beautiful pass play.

Final score favored Trojans with a 16-0 victory.

Coach Coats will digest tonights game and make adjustments before a short week. Magee will travel to Copiah Lincoln Community College Thursday, August 18, 2016 to open the season against Lawrence County in the KDMC Kickoff Classic.
