The Magee High School Trojans defeated the Kemper County Wildcats on Friday, November 15, to advance to the 3rd Round of the MHSAA 3A Playoffs. They will face the Jefferson County Tigers on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Tiger Stadium in Fayette.

The Trojans led the Wildcats 7-6 early in the first quarter after a touchdown by Ken Porter but ended the first half trailing 12-7. A second touchdown by Porter midway through the 3rd quarter put the Trojans up 15-12.

With a little more than a minute remaining in the game, Porter scored again, and the Trojans won 21-12.
