This year at Magee Elementary School, in order to improve behavior and pride in student accomplishments, students are now able to earn “Trojan Dollars” for acts of kindness for teachers and or other students in the school. For each kind act and or for simply following school rules without being reminded by an adult, the students earn one Trojan Dollar. Every 2 weeks, the students are able to spend their Trojan Dollars at the Magee Elementary School “Trojan Store” where items are there for purchase such as Magee paraphernalia, footballs, nail polish, candy, baseball caps, etc. On this past week, we had two special students to come to the Trojan Store with the largest amount of Trojan Dollars thus far. Kelijh Hayes, 3rd grade, earned 40 plus Trojan Dollars and Yasmin Milton, 4th grade, with 60 plus Trojan Dollars. The students are pictured below with the items they purchased for being model students.
