Travis W. Williams, 82, entered into our Lord’s nearer presence on Monday, August 1, 2022. He was born to Travis Albert Williams and Mavis F. Williams on September 26, 1939.
As a pharmacist for 50 years, Travis served people in and around Soso, at his own pharmacy, Williams Drugs, and later at Eckerd’s in Laurel and Magee.
He is survived by his wife, Sharelle (Kennedy) Williams; daughters, Shaye Smith (Dennis); Kristi Fernandez (Bill); brother, Alan Eugene Williams (Barbara);  sister, Linda Sue Williams Story (Ben).  He was “Pop” to five grandchildren:  Reed Olivia, Dalton, Andrew and Meili.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Travis and Mavis Williams.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Magee.  Services will follow at 1:00 PM with Bro. Jim Taylor officiating.  Interment will follow at Magee Cemetery.
