Saturday, June 22, 2019, officials were called to the scene of an accident on Hwy 49 South of Magee at the Simpson Covington county line. Apparently a produce vendor had been shot. The suspect is still on the lose and authorities are looking for him.
Another tragedy hit home Saturday as a young girl lost her life from a drowning accident. Priscilla Smith, elementary student at Magee Elementary, is the victim of the accident.
