Following Tuesday night’s election returns, Tracey Brown, candidate for Justice Court Judge, informed election commissioner Steve Womack of her desire for a recount.
The final-unofficial count showed Charles Savell leading Brown by 7 votes. Charles Savell—2153 and Tracey Brown—2146.
According to the website BALLOTPEDIA, Mississippi State law does not provide for a means for a candidates or voters to request recounts.
